This set of activities stemmed from some horse toys Scout received at Christmas. I am not joking, she has played with them every single day…we’re now in February! Basing learning on what children are interested in is the best way to learn.

Horse small world

DIY puzzle: a fun way to learn about horse body parts

Body part labels: I read the labels and Scout stuck them on

Horse cleaning station

Horse pin poke: I drew an outline of a horse then put it on a cork mat. Scout poked the outline with a pin (with a little help from mummy). We enjoyed holding it up to the window to see the light shining through the holes.

Realistic toys: this toy came with a saddle, bridal and reins. Scout really enjoys taking them and off. It’s a great work out for those little fingers.

Visiting a real horse!
So there you have it, some really fun activities you can do with your horse loving little. Jasmine ♡
